Yes, we play golf. And when we're not... we're still playing. La Quinta Country Club's calendar of events blends the perfect amount of social and golf activities for all members to enjoy.
Golfers kick off the season with the Opening Twilight Golf Tournament followed with a the Parejas Calientes, Couples' Tournament in early December which is held over two days with dinner parties and dancing. Both men and women host Member-Member challenges, Club Championships and Special Guest Days throughout the season. The Roadrunner is the primary Men's Invitational held over four days and includes a three-day golf challenge, dinner and more dancing. The Fiesta Alegre is our Women's primary Member-Guest event which originated in 1960. In addition, the women at La Quinta Country Club are organized as the La Quinta Country Club Women's Auxiliary. The mission of the Auxiliary is to provide a warm, fun and inclusive atmosphere in which all members (golfing and non-golfing) feel welcome.
Members also look forward to the Social events throughout the year. All members are welcome to participate in our annual Opening Ball, Holiday Dinner, Wine Tasting Dinner, Seafood Extravaganza, Gin, Bridge or Spite and Malice card games, 60’s Party and Chili Cook-Off. Members also enjoy our excellent dining room as well as our workout facility and other amenities commensurate of a first class country club.
