About The Club

La Quinta Country Club has garnered its reputation, over the past 60 years, for being one of the finest country clubs in the Coachella Valley.

In 1959, the founders envisioned it to be “a country club that will be unequaled in the Coachella Valley.” Not long after, we became a highly regarded private equity club and has been a favorite among many Hollywood Stars, U.S. Presidents, PGA Tour Players, and everyone in between.

Today, La Quinta Country Club is rich in tradition and the course is still beloved by its Members and guests and remains a favorite among the PGA Tour players. The Members of La Quinta Country Club have competed in a men's invitational since 1970, named the Roadrunner. From the facilities, to the staff, to the course... the Members are proud to show off their Club; and the course is only ONE of the reasons why the guest hopes for an invite back! 

The Members of La Quinta Country Club are proud of the traditions and fine reputation that have developed since the Club opened in 1959.

The Club had its beginnings in the minds and imaginations of men who looked at a barren, treeless desert and saw lush fairways, elaborate homes and fountain filled lakes.
